How ResurFX™ Works

Non-ablative laser.

The laser keeps the skin intact, stimulates collagen growth, and tightens the underlying skin. It is ideal for patients who prefer a milder treatment approach with less downtime.

A topical anesthetic is applied to ensure your ResurFX™ treatment is comfortable.

Before Treatment

You’ll start your ResurFX™ experience with a consultation with one of our Medical Aestheticians. They will assess your skin, create an individualized treatment plan based on your desired results, and answer any questions.

During Treatment

We’ll apply a topical anesthetic cream to numb the treated area. You may feel a slight warm sensation as the treatment gets underway. Each session typically lasts about 90 minutes or more, depending on the size of the treatment area.

After Treatment

Mild redness, swelling, and minor irritation similar to a sunburn may develop. However, these side effects typically subside in a few days and can easily be concealed with makeup. Your Medical Aesthetician will provide you with an at-home skin care recommendation that best suits your skin type and needs.
