How the Illuminize Peel® works
One-step peel.
The Illuminize Peel® contains a blend of salicylic acid and mandelic acid that is key to a gentle exfoliating treatment.
Accelerated exfoliation.
An Illuminize Peel® will accelerate the exfoliation of your skin and provide a brighter complexion.
Little to no peeling.
Unlike deeper peels, most patients experience minimal to no visible peeling after an Illuminize Peel®.
Before Treatment
Your Illuminize Peel® experience starts with a consultation with one of our Medical Aestheticians. They will assess your skin and develop an individualized treatment plan.
During Treatment
Your skin will be cleansed to ensure that all the oil has been removed for the peel to penetrate evenly. We will then apply the prepping solution followed by the peel. During the treatment, you may feel slight tingling on the skin. This should subside after the treatment.
After Treatment
Mild redness or discoloration may occur after treatment. Extra precautions should be taken to limit sun exposure for at least one week after the peel. Additional treatments may be received every two weeks until desired results are achieved.

What should I do before my treatment?
We recommend you stop all topical prescriptions, sun exposure, and any other aesthetic treatments at least one to two weeks prior to treatment.
