Delicious homemade sausage stuffing in a white baking dish, made with stale bread, chicken broth, and fresh herbs, perfect for holiday meals and weight loss.

 

Sausage Stuffing – GLP Elite™

Ingredients

  

Ingredients

  • 5 cups stale bread, cubed (1 loaf Hero or Inked Keto bread)
  • 3 cups chicken bone broth
  • ½ cup white or yellow onion
  • 10 links Jones Dairy Farm Fully-Cooked Sausage Links
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • Zero-calorie nonstick cooking spray

Spice Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp sage
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • 1 Tbsp salt-free poultry seasoning
  • Sale and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

 

  • Cut the stale bread into cubes. Set aside.
  • Cook the sausage in a large pan over medium heat. When browned, drain off the grease and add the onion, celery, and garlic. Cook for 4-5 minutes until softened.
  • In a large bowl, combine the bread cubs, sausage mixture, fresh herbs, eggs, and broth.
  • Spray a 9×13 baking dish with zero-calorie nonstick cooking spray. Transfer the mixture to the dish and spread into a single layer.
  • Book at 350°F for 45-55 minutes.

Notes

Recipe Yields: 2 servings of protein, 2 servings of vegetables, 10 servings of fats, 15 servings of complex carbs.
