What to expect

Your journey begins when you log in to a secured telemedicine portal for your one-on-one consultation with a Licensed Medical Provider. They will discuss your health history, weight loss goals, and lifestyle so they can prescribe the best program individualized to you. We require all new patients to complete lab work to ensure they can proceed safely. Most patients are able to start a program right away. Whether your weight loss goal is 10, 15, or 50 pounds, all you need to know is we will be there for you, providing support and encouragement, every step of the way.

What can I expect from my Oklahoma telemedicine appointment?

You will meet virtually with a Licensed Medical Provider using your laptop, computer, or smartphone. During the initial consultation, your Medical Provider will review your weight loss goals, health history, and current lifestyle to find the right weight loss plan for your situation.

Are there benefits to having a telemedicine appointment rather than an in-person appointment?

You will get the same experience from a telemedicine appointment as you would from an in-person one. The main benefit is that you don’t have to worry about commuting to and from a physical location, which will help you save money on gas. It also makes it easier to make an appointment when you have a hectic schedule.

How much will my telemedicine appointment cost?

How do GLP-1 medications work for weight loss?

GLP-1 medications work by mimicking the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor, which targets areas of the brain that regulate appetite. GLP-1s also decrease “gastric emptying,” the process by which the stomach contents are moved into the small intestine, increasing the feeling of satiety by making one feel fuller faster and longer.
